Hey everyone!

I'm looking for some help installing a GTO Patrol Car Alarm and Remote Starter in my 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. This is a unit from Japan, so the manual is very limited and in crude English.

I'm wondering if I need a bypass for the factory alarm. I've read a lot about Jeeps needing something if they have a gray ignition key, which mine does. If I need a bypass, does anyone have any suggestions? If not, how do I disable the existing alarm. Thanks!

Also, I've recently read that wiring also needs to lead through the memory seat controls in the driver door? Has anyone put a starter in the 1999 Grand Cherokee Limited and had any trouble with this? Thanks!

One more question: I've been told that the DEI 555c is the only bypass I need. Is that correct? Thanks a bunch!
