Where do I find the VSS wire for cruise control input on a 2002 Camaro Z28?

Hi capn, if your vehicle has a mechancial throttle linkage, the VSS wire is GREEN / WHITE and located in the factory cruise plug near the driver's side firewall in position "K" .  The tach, in case you need it, is Black at the coil pack.

Thanks for the help on VSS wire. Still looking for the tach hookup however. This engine (LS1) is a coil-per-cylinder, so what is considered the "coil pack"?

Hi capn, for the tach, instead of the Black wire, try locating a White wire in a Blue plug at the PCM. In an 8 cylinder the Blue plug should be a 10 pin connector, in a 6 cylinder it should be a 54 pin connector.
