Hi, I am looking for help with a '01 Ford Crown Vic. The vehicle is a police k9 car equipped with a heat sensor / alarm. The heat sensor / alarm lowers one of the two rear windows when the heat exceeds whatever limit the unit was set for to avoid cooking the dog. The company that installed the unit told me it was not possible to have the unit lower both rear windows without the driver giving up the control at the arm rest. I don't believe them. I think I know enough about vehicle wiring to know they are wrong but I don't know enough how to fix it. Can anyone help? If so, type slow because I can't read very fast 
In other words, I know just enough about vehicle wiring to be dangerous.
Also, does anyone have a wiring diagram for this car that would include wires for the windows (and where they are located).

You should be able to tie into the trigger of this unit and add a window module to control the toher window.

I hate to sound dumb but is is the window module something I have to buy? Also, do you have the complete diagram for this car? I'm going to add a remote starter.
Yes a window module is an add on piece. They are usually around $ 15.00 - $ 25.00 depending on where you get them.

NOTE: This vehicle has the PATS (passive anti-theft system) installed. It must be bypassed when adding a remote start module *1 The door locks are positive trigger if equipped with factory keyless entry, and are 5 wire on all other models. *2 The LCM is located to the passenger side of the steering column. The harness is accessable between the steering column and the LCM. *3 There is a dk. blue for the drivers door and BLACK/ orange for the other three doors. Use both wires and diode isolate each one. *4 The PCM is located under the hood to the drivers side of the brake master cylinder. *5 The wiper motor is located just above the brake master cylinder.
