I have recieved a 2-3 different wiring "color diagrams" from different websites. Does anyone know where the following wires are AND colors etc. Im so lost that im about to burn this stupid thing....haha.
1. Tach Input Wire
2. (-) Neutral Safety Switch Input & (-) Remote Start Toggle Switch Input
3. (+) Positive Safety Shut Down for Brake
4. (-) Negative Safety Shut Down for Hood Pin Switch ( I assume this is just going to the Hood Pin)
5. (-) 200mA Channel 3 (Trunk) Output
6. (-) 200mA Programmable Output OR (-) Ground Output during Start (Crank)
7. (-) 200mA Domelight Supervision Output
8. (-) 200mA Programmable Output OR Dual Pulse Door Unlock Output (Factory Default) OR Factory Security Disarm Signal Output OR Start Status (Shock Sensor Bypass Conrol) Output
9. (-) 200mA Ignition 3 Control Output
It says that I can take #2 and Ground it when it is NOT USED for either of the connections listed.
There is also one more small thing on another harness. The Parking Light Relay Output and the Horn Output. Not sure where to find that.
1. Tach: Black @ underdash diagnostic connector
2. Ground it.
3. Hook to brake wire blue @ driver door sill. Will be multiple blues test to verify.
4. Hook to hood pin if putting one in, otherwise cut off.
5. If your camry has OEM keyless with trunk release, you will need a relay. If no OEM keyless, cut off you don't need this wire.
6. Not used.
7. Domelight will come on automatically when locking and unlocking if the car isn't running. If having the interior lights come on when you unlock while the car is running by remote start, you will need a relay. So basically, cut off..
8. Cut off..
9. This would go to your remote start bypass module connect to the (-) activation on the bypass.
The parking light and horn outputs would both be run with the ignition wires up to the shroud where you can tap both. Parking lights are black (-) @ multiswitch and horn is white (-). MAKE SURE YOUR PARKING LIGHT RELAY/POLARITY and/or horn polarity INPUT IS SET TO NEGATIVE or GROUNDED, OR YOU WILL FRY YOUR TURN SIGNAL SWITCH!
