I'm installing a remote starter on this vehicle but I couldn't find the Factory Rearm wire. If I want to rearm the car after remote starter stops, I have to trigger the arm wire, right? but where is it? Thanks a lot for your input.

on audiovox site or Scytek companion doesn't show a rearm wire.

The wire I'm test'n isn't doin' what it's supposed to be doin'... I am so glad I printed that tech sheet, with the wrong info.
Do it right the first time... or I might have to fix it for ya

You need to pulse the driver's doorpin wire and the lock wire to rearm the factory alarm. You must also program the vehicle to arm in this manner unless that is already done. Factory default is to only arm with the factory remote. Open the driver's door and push the door lock switch on the door. Close the door and if the system arms you are good to go.

Thanks! I reprogram the factory alarm system at mode 3. But now how can I "pulse the driver's doorpin wire and the lock wire" at the same time after the the RS shuts down? If I don't use secure lock feature, the only thing RS does after shuts down is pluse the rearm wire.

ok, my grand prix unlock itself everytime when the disarm wire is triggered, is there anyway to stop this? I checked the user manual but couldn't find a setting can stop this. Anyone can help?

The way to do it properly is to use a relay and diodes. You can split your rearm wire into two circuits and install a diode into each branch with the bands of the diodes towards the remote starter. One wire goes to the lock wire in the car. The other wire goes to terminal 87a of a relay. Terminal 30 of the relay goes to the driver's door pin wire. Terminal 86 of the relay to ignition power. Terminal 85 of the relay to the remote starter's negative out when running wire. You will also need to split your negative out when running wire into two circuits each with a diode inline (band towards the remote starter) One wire to the relay as described and one to your Passkey III bypass. Failure to use the diodes will cause problems and a drain on the battery. This setup will allow the doors to lock and relock with the ignition on. You need to program the starter for secure lock. Don't forget to hook up the remote starter's disarm wire up to the car. Depending on your remote starter you may also have to diode isolate the trunk release wire to pulse both the trunk release relay and the disarm wire. Some units can do this for you through programming instead.
