Hi. A rent-a-car agency requested mobile video for some of their fleet. The only problem is, they want to be able to resell the vehicles without a loss, and do not want anything noticeable to be left on the headliner Is this humanly possible and without too much extra expense- or at all ? Thank you

On Toyota Siennas, I'm able to do an overhead video without cutting the headliner. I slide a piece of 3/8" plywood above the headliner through the sunroof opening, and re-use the domelight screws to fasten it in place. Then, I place the video on the ceiling, and put four screws through the headliner and into the wood.....if the video were taken out, the four holes are unsightly, but could probably be lived with.
If you could get longer screws with the same thread pitch as the Toyota domelight screws, you could probably fasten the wood onto the visible side of the headliner instead---this would eliminate the screw holes as well.
You might also check out the headrest monitors made by Vizualogic; we've used a few and they seem pretty good. You buy a complete headrest from them, with a 7" screen already built-in. Installation is quick, and the customer can save their factory headrests for resale time.
