I'm trying to install a Valor roof-mount dvd player in my 08 trailblazer and am looking for a wiring diagram of the trailblazer...I know nothing about car video and have a few questions about the harness that came with the player...I didn't receive an installation manual..
What is the SPDIF connection and do I need it? I also have an aux in and out...What could I connect to these? I also have a wire labeled door s/w...What is that?

You didn't receive an installation manual? Go back where you bought it and demand one.

door s/w is for the dome light built into the unit. Most units end up installed over your factory dome. aux in is for your video source(dvd, playstation,etc...) aux out is for sending the signal to other units. anything else you should be able to get from valor website
