Having trouble with my avic yesterday when I turned the car on and the screen opened up it was dark, so dark that i can only barly see the screen unless the full sun is shinig right on it. All the functions still work including the touch controls I know this because it still beeps when I touch the screen and I still get music but I can't adjust anything without being able to see it. I need advice thanks in advance.

Sounds like the background LED has went out. Time for a service call to Pioneer.

There is a recall on this unit. They will fix it for free.
