I have a 2004 Lincoln Aviator with the stock nav/dvd system in it. I get the typical lockout while driving and I want to use the nav while driving.... anyone know how to get this done? Maybe ground one of the wires or a programming override??

Thanks

I'm assuming that you don't need to apply the parking brake when stopped to use the navi. Most factory navigations just use the speed sense for the navi lockout. You should be able to open the speed sense wire (GRAY/BLACK) at the radio with a switch. If you leave the switch off, the arrival times will be way off, and with some systems your navi icon may not even move... so when you're done entering an address click it back on. It's worked for me on an 08 G35 and 07 Mazda Speed6 with no problems.

Remember... keep your eyes on the road or have a passenger use the navi while driving.
