I need help hooking up the factory overhead monitor to my eclipse avn-7000. please help me out.

Similar situation but need ideas on re-wiring the factory DVD player and Monitor back up so it will still work after installing a Kenwood DNX7100 HU/NAV in my 03 Excursion?

HELP PLEASE!!!

did it work? i have an 03 X too..the dvd has constant power and will take and eject dvd's but the screen is black..guessing i have no switched power?

You need to power up the GREEN/ black on the second radio plug to get power on the screen...

haven't installed it yet as i just got it yesterday. but metra makes a dvd retention plug. has a ground, amp remote+ and 2 rca's for inputs into  yer hu.

part number... 70-5520av.

cost was 7 bucks. he gave it to me because i am such a good customer lol.well that and i just spent A  trillion dollars buying a jbl crown 6000gti and a couple jbl high end amps..lol
