ok im relatively new to the visual department. i am wanting to cut my headrests to put in a monitor in each one. now my questions are as follows... what brands can i look at, at a cheaper budget. i am looking 300 or less for the monitors and dvd player, plus a little extra for whatever wiring i need. i dont want the premounted headrest monitors as none of them look like the original headrests in my 2006 Chrysler 300C. also should i get a dvd player thats the same brand as the monitors? what additional wires or cables are required? i already know i need a fm modulator for sound to come through the speakers.. but what else?
one last thing does anyone have a "how to install a dvd system in a 300C for dummies" manual by chance? as i said i am kinda green to installing visual equipment and dont feel like spending more money than i should have or worse frying stuff cause i chose somewhere to hook up a wire where i shouldnt have.
thanks ahead of time, Greggk
thre are alot of companies that make headrest monitors here are a few that i have installed for customers
-xo vision
-soundstream
-bma
-xfile
between these companies you should be able to find something that fits your price range, and you should be able to use any dvd player most companies are not brand specific
hope this helps.
