I've just installed an overhead dvd (Movies 2 Go MMD92) in my 2001 Odyssey EX. Everything works fine, except that the power/accessory behavior isn't what I want. (I want the DVD off when the car is off. My kids will leave it on and drain the battery otherwise.)

I've routed everything down the A pillar and had planned to get power and accessory near the passenger kick panel fuse box. Do any of you experts know, off the top of your head, the best place to tap power and accessory in that vicinity?

fuse box always has a good source, but if your in doubt, run a wire straight to the battery for constant 12 and the acc to a radio fuse.

Ignitino harness FTW. Looks cleaner than having wires poking out of your fuse box. Take a meter and test for a 12v constant and a 12v switched ACC. Constant will obviously show 12v nomatter what the key position is, Acc will show 12v when the key is turned to the ACC and Run positions, and drop off when the starter is cranking.
