I have a 2008 Chevy Silverado. I need to find a switched lead to hard wire my GPS unit. I am having trouble locating one in the fuse panel in the cab.

I do not know if this wire is in the 1500, but it is in the 2500, 3500. Read Sparkie's post toward the bottom. If the wire is not in your truck, read the entire thread.

Thanks for the help. I ended up running a switched lead from the engine compartment fuse box through the dash to the cab.
