I have a 2003 Nissan Altima.  I want to put 5.6" TFT LCDs in the headrests but want to go as cheap as possible in terms of the monitors.  What's the best bang for the buck?

Also, I talked to my install guy, and he said a lot of the cheaper ones come with sh*tty mounting hardware, and that can make a big difference in terms of the final look.  So I guess the mounting hardware I need to take into consideration as well.

Thanks in advance, your help is much appreciated :)

If I'm at a car show, and I have these running:

- Underbody kit neons
- Headrest TVs
- Stereo with amp/12" sub/capacitor
- xBox

What's the best way to keep these on while leaving the car off.....Is there a way to do this?

That is, without draining the battery ;)

For the show use a regulated power supply or a large charger for the battery. As far as cheap monitors, you can get cheap ones off eBay for about $79

Jeff,

Any idea where I can get that (recommendations on model, etc)?  And around what estimated price range...In general, how long would the power supply last?

As for cheap monitors, I did see cheap ones on eBay...but I don't want to get something absolutely horrible...I guess rather than the CHEAPEST, I'm looking for the best "bang for the buck".  Any ideas/suggestions?

Many of those cheap monitors on eBay not only come with poor mounting hardware but also cheap displays. Becareful what you buy. I recommend you see the display in person before you buy. The cheap displays often can only be seen straight on and in medium to no light. Mid day in a car bleaches out the display so you cannot see it.
In a nutshell, they are terrible.
