I am trying to find a roof mount monitor that has built in speakers but does not have a dvd player. I am doing a dual zone install with a Clarion vrx785bt but do not want to add a amp and speakers just for the dvd player.

If you do find a monitor with speakers built into it, don't expect them to sound real good.  Or to get loud enough to overcome the front speakers, even with them at a low volume.  They are about like the speakers mounted on a DLP Projector.  Useless.

I agree, the older Avox units had speakers and they sounded like crap.

no one builds a flip with built in speakers anymore, most you'll find is audio outputs and a fm transmitter
