This is the unit I'm thinking of and would like to know how far out does the unit extend from the dash as it deploys the screen?

The KVT series extend an average of 7 inches out.

Too far for the Saab 9-3. Only have 6.75 till it would hit.
I will try a look at the Pioneer Avhp5000dvd
