I have a 2003 Chevy Express Van. Both the TV and the Outlet in the back will not work. Both went out at the same time. No power at all is going to them. Is there a fuse or something that would be causing this and if so where would it be located?? Thanks for all the help

I can only assume that the TV is an added aftermarket thing. It is going to be hard for us to tell you where the fuse is located. Have you looked inside the fusebox to see if there are any aftermarket wires going to it? When you say outlet, are you talking about a 12 volt cigarette lighter type plug, or a 110 volt type of outlet?

It is a Conversion van and the Conversion kit is Regancy. There is a fuse box under the drivers seat but I am not at all good with cars so I didn't know if anyone knew what fuse it could be or even if it could be a fuse. The outlet is a 110 outlet just like in a house.

Follow the wires from the outlet and it will go to a power inverter. It will be an aluminum case with fins on it. It looks similar to an amplifier. When you find it, there should be a fuse mounted to the device. Check it and also check for voltage on the large red wire that comes out of it. Check at the battery for a decent size wire with a fuse holder inline with it. If the TVs run on 110 volts, either there is a bad fuse or the inverter has went out. It should be pretty easy to find, it may be behind a TV.

There is a small box on the left side when you open the rear doors. There are fuses there and I think the one for the TV is there. It is probably blown. Good Luck
