Does anyone know how to increase the volume output from the 1/8" mono jack on a Passport 8500 radar detector. Currently I have the escort output feeding a MIX-IT2 personal amplifier on the mono priority input channel and it's output  then feeds the J&M radio's input on my motorcycle to my helment speakers . With the Mix-It2  volume turned all the way up it still is not loud enough. I also have a SANSA clipMp3  feeding the     mix-it2 input to j&m and it will blow your ears out if you want.  The passport 8500 has been set via the program to it's loudest settings also.

Thanks Darrin

I figured it out. Put together a 12vdc 1 watt mono amp, worked great.
