I'm trying to install a back-up camera on my '03 Chevy Trailblazer EXT. How do I run the 2 wires from the camera mounted on the license plate to the reverse light's wires?

Remove either the left or right rear light assembly. Locate the wires that go to the reverse bulb. Identify the positive wire. Tap into it and run to the camera.

What is the color of the reverse light's positive wire? . . . didn't see any red wire. Thanks.

Black, brown, green, and 2 lt. blue wires.

Alot of the trucks/suv's have a trailer hitch harness w/ everything in there...Not sure if your does...Also gray in DKP...One wire is going to ground...Anywhere will work for this...Did it come w/ a ring terminal on ground wire...?

Audiovox has a Grey wire listed, it is under the sill plate at the drivers door. It must change colors on the way to the back. You may have to get a volt meter and figure out which one it is.

There may be 5 wires going to the entire light assembly, there should be only 2 going to the reverse bulb. If the meter is not an option, ground the camera and connect the positive wire to one of the wires of the reverse lamp. Test it, and try the other wire if necessary.
