hi everyone,

i have finally scratched-up enough money to buy a a/v/navi. system for my 2007 chevy silverado classic. i bought the jvc kw-nx7000, PAC steering module, bluetooth, camera, and axxess bose/onstar gmos-04. i think i have a grasp on the install but the GMOS-04 has me left with a few questions that might be remedial to the experts here.

1, the GMOS-04 inst. sheet says the bl./pink wire goes to the vss wire on the radio. im not finding any vss wire on the radio. does this wire connect to the grn/wht under the dash by the steering column? or leave it disconnected?

2, the jvc head unit inst. sheet says the brn/wht reverse signal wire on the back of the radio taps into the reverse lights. does it go to the GMOS-04 grn/purp. reverse lead or to the reverse lights? because the GMOS-04 inst. sheet says to connect the grn/purp. to the reverse on the radio. not sure which one to follow.

3, previously i had a sub and amp installed and they put in a hi-low converter. i noticed the radio has a single RCA for a sub. i havent seen the hi-low but my question is, will it have two RCAs or one? if it has two, do i need another part to connect to the single RCA on the back of the radio or what will i have to do.

4, the GMOS-04 inst. sheet says to connect the green wire to the green parking brake wire on the back of the radio. if i leave it disconnected and run the radio brake lead to ground what will the outcome be, will i damage anything?

thank you sincerely, i appreciate all suggestions, and opinions. i plan to do this install as soon as i get a direction on these last few questions. thanks again.

Don't experiment by yourself .. call some expert who will install it properly.
