Looking at putting a drop down in my 2002 F-250 crew cab.looking for about a 13inch. Dose any one have any ideas? It doesn't have a flat roof. It has a hump in the roof. went to best buy and two other stereo shops and no one has any ideas. Please dose anyone have any ideas??? And was wondering if a double din will fit in the stereo hole also?

A double DIN does fit in the OEM location and you can purchase a shroud around the overhead that you can trim to shape. At least with Clarion you can as I have installed many overhead units into vehicles that do not have a flat roof.

I've simply mounted them up top and squished the hump flat. Put a chunk of plywood on top of the headliner and when you tighten the DVD down it will flatten out. You can attach the wood to the beam above. Sometimes you will get a little creasing but not too bad as the hump is small. I've done a few dozen 250's this way and never had a complaint.
