I installed a flo tv system into an Infinity QX56. I got it working with the factory dvd screen for the rear seats just fine. Im trying to use a RGB2+ from nav-tv to get the flo tv on the factory indash navi/back up screen.
The nav-tv help department has not been able to help me, they have no wiring info but told me remove all the panels to gain access to the screen's wiring, turn the key to the run position and probe each wire with a test light. Then when i probe the red, green and blue wires the screen will display a color. Does this sound right? I probed all 24 wires and never got anything on the screen. They also said there should be a sheilded wire, which there wasn't. Any help? Havent done this before and its the vehicle belongs to my boss posted_image
Also after giving up for the day and putting it all back together the airbag light is on, everything is plugged in and no wires were cut, suggestions?

ok, you got the wrong part. the following will show you the right part # and step by step instruction

https://www.navvideo.com/downloads/Install_NV_RGB3.pdf

AIR BAG. The airbag light came on because you disconnected the passenger airbag on/off warning light when you removed the center dash piece. Then you energized the ignition while still disconnected. That popped a code. For future reference, its ok to disconnect but dont turn on ignition without reconnecting first

To fix : you can simply read/reset codes with a scan tool or try disconnecting negative terminal of car battery for 5 minutes you might get lucky.

The first time this happened to me I was lucky because I was at the infiniti dealership  and had one of the mechanics reset for me. He said I saved about $85 if I had to pay for it

Thanks Don, Ive been out of installing for a few years and just got a new job doing it again, I had forgot about not turning the switch when things are unplugged. I can borrow an obd2 scanner so I should be able to get the light off. So the navvideo product just comes with a harness which plugs into the screen? It looks like a much better design.
