Hello, I was wondering where to mount my GPS antenna? Should I put it on the roof or the dash.I will be installing a JVC KW-NT3HDT in my 2007 Ford F-150 FX2.Also, how do i route the wire up to the roof. Any info would be a great help.Thank you

hi,

you can place it underneath the dash as long as there is only plastic above it.  remove the plastic trim/tray above the radio for better access.  assuming the antenna is magnetic, attach to metal bracing.  as close to the base of the windshield, if possible, would be best.

Ok thank you! one more question, does the orientation of the antenna matter. I mean does the dome shaped part have to facing up?Thanks again
for your help.

the bottom is flat?..the dome points up to the sky.
