Ok here is all the things I have tested.  After having everything hooked up I get horizontal lines running through the 2 headrest screens and just a hair through the in dash screen.  I hooked up a Home DVD player to see if there was noise in my Video wire running to the headrest but the quality was perfect.  The only times I get the horizontal lines is when the screens are plugged into the back of the DVD player in the dash, so the noise is coming from the dvd player itself is the only thing I can figure out.  what would be the problem you think.

Thanks Nick

Horizontal lines, or verticle? Check your power connections on your in dash dvd player. Are you using power/ground from behind the deck? I would give it its own power and ground source. Factory harnesses run through electricly "busy" areas and could interfere with your dvd players power.

horizontal lines,  my bad I accidently typed vertical for some reason, damn fingers.  I was doing some more testing with my wires and tonight Im going to redo the ground wires, I dont think I have a good enough ground and its maybe too long.  I will give that a try and if still doesnt fix it I will run a power wire up to the front straight from the battery.

Im getting so frustrated with this I cant stand it.   I hooked up my head units to a another 12v battery so signal would be clean for sure and still when the car is started the signal is wavy, but not when the car isnt started.  What else can I try.  Ive tried absolutly everything.   I have my video cable and power cable running on oposite sides of the car even.

Its a Pioneer DVD Player.  I got it working great now.   I ran all my grounds as short as possible.  they are now all under 2 feet and things are great.

Thanks Nick

When grounding your DVD player, mobile video, etc. It is VERY important on how long your grounds are they eat up very little power as opposed to amplifiers which need mass amounts of power very quickly. Don't worry about the length of the ground as much as a common ground. Try grounding it with your amplifier and see if that solves anything.
