I have gotten a 500w - 1000w max Power Inverter that I would like to install in my Chrysler Town and Country.

I was wanting tio run my idea of how I want to mount it by you guys and get thought, opinions and ideas. I will be using this inverter for my Xbox360 and Laptop mainly. I will occasionally want to power other things in the event of a power outage at my home (happens more than it should)

Basically I am looking for a Amp Kit with 4 Gauge Wiring and Inline Fuse Block and I will run the wire to the back of the van from the battery in the Engine compartment. Will the 4 Gauge Wire be ok from that distance? I want the Inverter in the back of the van so I can run an extension cord out to other things in the event I may need it in emergencies, camping and such. Also it would be nice to have the Xbox360 in the back out of the way.

This is the Power Inverter I have: https://www.retrevo.com/support/Cobra-HG-PI-500-manual/id/421ci468/t/2/

I did not download or look at the manual for your inverter.  Real 4 Ga wire handles 150 amps of current.  When purchasing a wire kit, make sure the kit comes with an ANL type fuse holder.

Did you ever get this installed? I am looking at trying to upgrade the power inverter that is factory installed in my 2010 Chrysler Town & Country to a 500-1000 watt inverter. Any suggestions?

If the wiring handles it, fine.

4GA with full 500W inverter output will drop ~40mV per meter.
