Hi I had the OEM TV option, being a 07 (european model) this was when analog signal was used, now digital is used, I am using the Kenwood 9260 BT with TV, instead of putting up another antenna in the front window ,can I use the OEM antennas to pick up the digital? Thanks

You can use whatever you like for an antenna. It does not matter what you use for an antenna, you will not be able to watch digital tv when the car is in motion.

Thanks is that because of the law or because of you are actually in motion?

You cannot pick up digital signals using the old style analog antenna. Digital signals are quite different from analog ones and the receiver would not be able to interpret them at all.
true or false?

Nothing to do with the law. The antenna is not the issue, it is just the fact that there is so much more info needed on the digital end. Stationary, you can watch. Once in motion, it is too much trouble to decipher all the information.

Accele makes a digital converter for auto use. Regular rabbit ear antennas will pick up the signal, the digital converter tweaks/converts the signal.

Well hopefully the digital over there actually works, because here in the US it sucks. getting a signal while moving is tough here...
