Cut the green wire between the deck and the parking brake connection. Then connect the 2 wires to the 2 terminals of the rocker switch.

When you cut the wire, you will now have 2 ends. Disregard the switch terminal that is labeled ground, this terminal is only for the illumination of the switch. You have 2 other terminals on the switch. Connect one end to one terminal of the switch. Then connect the other end of the wire to the other terminal of the switch.

The green wire goes through the switch to get to the parking brake. If this switch is in the off position, there will be no watching video.

Sorry guys that won't work, The Z-series by Pioneer not only uses the parking brake wire to allow video to play, but uses VSS and GPS. Even if you ground the Parking brake wire, once you start moving over a certain speed the video will stop being displayed. There is a way to do it, check out the web site www.avic411.com
