I have a gex-6400tv tuner and was wondering where to connect the power

Should I splice a cable?

Please help

Sure, you can get power from any switched source in the Vehicle. As long as it's a 12V unit. . . Usually splicing into the Cig Lighter is common, but if it's one of those ALWAYS ON lighters like in my van, then there would always be power to the Tuner. My Car's lighter is stitched with the Ignition.
