I'm splicing into a 4-pin s-video cable because I'm splitting the video connection & need a composite video end for the monitor I'm installing. The cable carries power, ground, v+, & v-. I know how to test for power & ground with my DMM but how do I test for V+ & V-

It's a s-video cable using composite video, 12v, ground so s-video pinout does me no good
