I installed my customers used mirror and applied power and it smoked briefly for a second before I could get the connector unplugged. Now the unit will not show any signs of powering on. Upon disassembly ive noticed there are a couple components that are smoked charred.

This unit has a 12 pin connector. I have another vehicle with a similar mirror and the same 12 pin connector that I used to verify the mirror was working before trying it in the customers vehicle.
Anyone have any advice on board level repairs with smt components?
Anyone have the 12 pin connector wiring diagram for this model?
