Can somebody please help me I just got a JVC KV-M700 monitor. As I was installing it I checked to make sure everything was wired correctly before before mounting the monitor and hiding all of the wires. It worked fine. After I was finished I tried to turn it on and all I get is the standby light which stays on when the key is in. I then checked all of my wires and all the wires were good. The only thing that I am not sure is the gren wire which is for the parking brake. I have it grounded and it still will not work. When I ran my test earlier it was grounded and it worked. Please help me

Where did you ground it?

It is grounded on my parking brake harness. I grounded it to the bolt that is holding the harness to the body of the car. I have the ground wire attached to the stereo ground and then the GREEN/ gray wire attached to the harness. Should I ground them together or separate. I also wanted to know if sound was going thru the control unit so I hooked up my PS2 thru the control unit and into my FM modulator. I heard sound but is was low and not clear. I conected my PS2 straight to the FM modulator and it worked fine. I have already traded out the control unit and the new is doing the same thing as the old one. I am really lost on this one.
