So...
I REALLY want/need a backup cam for my 2010 BMW 5 series. Inexplicably it wasn’t even an option on the 5, but WAS on the cheaper 3-series. wth? Anyway... an aftermarket CiC unit costs a ton, so I bought this:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B081YFW3DM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Sits in front of the OEM rearview and the little cam on the bottom acts as a dash cam. It comes with a rear backup cam as well, and auto switches to it when you put the car in reverse, etc.
(Im sure you guys know all of this already)

HOWEVER, here’s what I’m wondering — could a second “backup“ camera be incorporated into this system? I would mount it up front and low; my car is lowered and I always have to be worried about cement parking curbs/bumpers and the such when pulling into parking spots.

Obviously if I’m pulling in straight I don’t need the rear cam on so I would ‘video switch‘ to the front Cam to pull in forward, and to the rear cam when backing out of a spot.

Possible? Feasible? Affordable?? Lol

Thanks!
