I installed a camera system in a 2014 Ford interceptor sedan. System is powered directly from the battery with a 7.5 inline fuse. system also has an ignition sense wire that provides 12v when the ignition is turned on (1 amp fuse)

the system is designed to activate when the trigger wire gets a positive 12v (starts recording) in this case the system gets 12v from emergency lights.

the system starts like it should when the key is turned on. it does not record when the lights are activated..... if i remove the key then activate the lights the trigger works and the camera starts recording.

i have installed quite a few of these and haven't had this issue before. any ideas ?
