i have the alpine chip that they give us dealers for by passing the video in our display boards.. so i tried it out in a car.. works fine however, when pressing the brake or using the turn signal or anything different than just driving, everyonce and a while it will flash the safety screen.. how can i get around the alpine chip?? Thanks..

There is another company that makes a bypass for the alpine stuff and all of the wiring is done to their box, I cannot though for the life of me remember the name of the company, the boxes were about 40 bucks a piece though.

The best bypass I have found is the Black Box which is available on Ebay from guy named Mike..  Just hook up power, ground, remote, foot brake, and hand brake wires...  Video is instantly on at ALL times as soon as car is started/turned on..  No switching, no pumping brakes, no nothing..  Just instant and continuous video..  Search for Black Box on Ebay...

the only thing that the boxes are doing is using a program chip to do the sequence that can be performed with a toggle switch. but this is a nice piece!
