Anyone know if the parking break lead wire on cars is 12v or not?  I have a P6400cd and am trying to bypass the stupid security feature.  So can I just hook it up to the remote wire?   (instead of the parking brake lead?)  Thanks!

The parking brake lead is negative or ground, just put a ring terminal on it and ground it to the chassis of the vehicle.
