Hey guys,

I was just wondering is it possible to  to use a lap-top monitor that has been dis-assembled from the pc it self and wire it up to my dvd player so i have alot bigger screen?

It is possible, but in my opinion not worth it. You have to add alot of parts just to get it to work. If you search through the video forum there will be some other info on this, I just don't happen to remember the parts needed but it almost isn't worth it.

You'd need to have an RGB type input on the lcd screen, and even then you'd need a composite to rgb converter which will likely set you back at least $150.  Most likely if you took the screen from a laptop you're not going to be able to do this without spending more than what the screen itself is probably worth at this point.
