Will this work? We have a Legacy 5.6" indash monitor, and a plye dvd/cd player. The indash only has two video inputs and the dvd player has audio and video out. Now video out from the dvd to the monitor no problem. As far as the audio the outputs from the dvd player, are they able to go to an amp which would power the speakers inside giving this audio? Nither of these have a tuner built in. He does not want the t.v. tuner. Is it still needed? Or is the way I had in mind possible? It's all going into a stock 95 pontiac grand prix.

Thanks,

Run the out puts to a fm modulatur which connects betyween the cars ant. and broadcast the audio over the preselected channel on the fmmod.

Should it not still work with the audio outputs from the dvd player to the amplifier for the speakers? The model on the dvd is pldvd92 and the monitor is LMIN56. That way it will by pass the fm mod. which he does not want a tuner.

You state " which he does not want a tuner" meaning he doesn't want an Fm modulator? If this is the case then you will have to use a universal switching device inline on the rca inputs to the amp. Soundgate and Scosche make these.

Hooked it up today without any troubles besides some engine noise in which I bought a ground loop isolator that completely killed the noise. The dvd player did have volume control so no need for any other parts. Dvd's and cd's sound great!
