i just bought 2 sunvisor monitors and i was wondering where to wire the power to? is there a step-by-step installation guide how and where to hookup the power?
you need to run the power to a switched source, like the radio harness for example, if you have an aftermarket HU in your car the switched wire will be red, and the grnd will be black, some people install a switch inline wuth the power wire to turn the monitors off if not in use
As for running the wires you just need to go through the headliner where the mounts are and run your wires behind the a pillar covers to your power and signal sources

My mechanic told me, "I couldn't fix your brakes, so I made your horn louder"
You can power them from just about any power source in your car, as the monitors take little amperage to run. However, as ezridr points out, you'd be better off using an ignition-switched power source. This way you don't have to worry about shutting off the screens every time you exit the vehicle. You can either use something like your radio's ignition-switched power lead, or install a relay and tap off a fuse slot in your interior fuse box. The radio way is much easier, though.
If the vehicle has a lighted mirror you can use those wires for the power to the screen. Most monitors shut off when no signal is present on the rca jack. This saves install time and works fine. Brian
