I was wondering what you guys in the industry would reccomend as the best tv antenna. I bought 2 diversity antennas and used them in my previous vehicle. the where mounted to the windows on both sides of the suv with tape. I live in NJ and the reception on a nj broadcasted station was decent but everything else was so so. the antennas werent power and they each had 2 plugs. my question is, would the amplified antennas work much better or is there something you industry guys use that is better? i currently have an overhead monitor/ps2 and dvd. I still have the tv tuner from my old suv and was asking because i might want to install that. thanks in advance

the powered diversity antenna will help improve reception but won't  totally eliminate the static in the picture or the sound while you are moving. The further you are away from the source of the broadcast the worse it is going to get, also power lines, trees mountains, valleys and even cloud cover all affect the signal. If you have the tv tuner and an extra av input it won't hurt to install it, but to answer your question there is no antenna out there that is going to give you clear tv reception and sound all of the time
