I installed a fm modulator.The monitor gets sound but when i try to play the radio stations i'm getting static that i didnt get before. How do i go about fixing this.

Make sure the FM modulator is turned off when you want to listen to the radio

How do i go about wiring a toggle switch to turn off the modulator.

I guess you could just put an on/off switch inline with the modulator's power wire.
