Ok, Ive been attempting to research this for a while now....I know its possible (it has to be :) ).

What all would it take to get a laptop LCD screen to work with a video card in a desktop?...I know we`re talking about alot of soldering and wiring, but I personally think this is worth doing. With all of the knowledge in 12volt.com, I know we can get it.

The reasons for this are simple...first, they are super slim..(Install anywhere) 2nd, theres dirt cheap..you can get 13 - 15 in refurbished LCD screens shipped to you for 15-50 bux! and 3rd, if you install the computer system..the only need for a head unit would be the tuner.

I read that `All laptop LCDs are produced with ANALOG pinouts on the PCB`..if this is true, we should be able to wire it up to work with a desktop video card..right??

Were talkn about some Kick A$$ installs here fellas :)

With a torch and a big enough hammer...it WILL friggin fit!!
