I purchased this unit used so there are no instructions as far as the wiring is concerned. How do I get the video lock to go off there are two wires one is labeled foot brake the other brake but they are not labeled positive or negative. Any help would be greately appreciated. Thanx

there are several postings for this...just type in "cv" under the search engine for this forum and there are several postings for this but if i recall the one that is labeled brake hooks up to the ground of the parking (yellow/blue i think) and the other wire that is labeled "brake" is hooked up to the brake wire down by your foot. This wire carries 12V. You can also hook this wire up to a toggle switch that is hooked up to a 12v source. That way you can turn the switch on and off to bypass the video lock. So,....hook up yellow with blue to ground (parking brake preferred we don't want anything illegal) and the other one to a toggle switch that carries 12v. when you power up the head unit do the following sequence with the toggle switch...on...off...on...off...on and this should bypass the video lock.
