I'm having a challenge making my NVE-D900 to bypass the safety features in my '93 E36 BMW.

I am using a MRV-F357 Alpine V12 Amplifier with an IVA-D900 Tuner Box (Brains in the trunk) and the NVE-N852A box (also in the trunk).  Up front, I have installed the IVA-D900 – Monitor working with the PAC TR-7 in compliance with the latest technical bulletin form PAC.   The IVA-D900 works just fine (all bypassed - DVD working, etc).  I gounded the nav system's yellow/with blue wire at the amp in the trunk. Nothing but the warning...

Any ideas?

I believe that wire must see a ground pulse rather than a constant ground signal.
