just installed a luxma dvd & monitor, fm sound & ir sound are ok. the screen is black except for for a few specs of color. where do i go from here?

I would check the output of my dvd with another monitor or a small tv. If that's good then I would check the power to the monitor (making sure it's a good source). If all that checks. Then replace the monitor.

it seems to happen when it is cold ; when i warm the interior of the van and subsiquently the monitor the picture is fine, is this normal?
