I have a DVD player and a screen and i have been running them temp.... i wanna hardwire them...... I used Metra Smartplugs to wire in the HU and I wanna know is it safe to tap the constant and acc from this point..... The DVD player has a choke on it w/ a fuse in the choke assembly, do i need to add an additional one...... i wanna also use the fused 12/.5a remote to power the LCD so that the screen will only power on w/ the DVD..... any help appreciated

You shouldn't have any problems using the wires from the deck, the choke assembly is only for electrical noise interfience, if you don't have any now, no need to add more. If you add more screens, you might consider using a relay.
