I just got around to installin my multimedia system, But I have a real problem....... I have a MTV 5961 DVD player, 3 pyle 7.2 wide screen LCD, and a X.O. Vision Video Amp.... now my problem...... I connected the DVD power and ACC to the Stereo Wire harness.... the video amp power to the cigar lighter.... now the DVD works fine, it holds its memory and the video amp comes on only when the switch is on...... I put an inline 2amp fuse to the 12V power lead which leads to a choke that has a fuse in it into the DVD and it already have a fuse on the ACC.... now i was to draw poer for the screen from the already .5amp fused remote from the DVD to power on screen so that it would only come on when the DVD is on........ Now the LCD comes on but it does not show any sighns of a picture..... the LCD menu or volume will not display on the screen........ I then plugged the TV to a cigar lighter adapter that has a 3amp fuse in it and it worked fine....... can anybody lend me a hand @ determining the power problem i am having.... i thought maybe the ground was screwedup since I use a grounding strap for all 4 items.................

Sounds like your system is starving for juice try hooking everything up, but with higher fused 12 volt source and see if problem goes away, its like plugging too much into a wall socket in  your home.

Try using the power output from the DVD to trigger just a relay. Use the relay to give the screen a better source of current. It sounds as though you aren't getting enough current from your DVD.
