Subject: help with Mobile Video

Hello,

    This will be my first moblie video install, so bear with me. I am planning on buying and DVD and separate monitor. I want to integrate this into my existing factory stereo systems. What installation do I need to make this one sucessful. Thanks for your help.

Integrate sound or ? You'll need a audio/visual fm modulator to bring sound through speakers.

You will need either a FM modulator, or depending on vehicle there may be an auxillary input adapter that will supply sound through the cd changer input.

The DVD player will give you sound and video outputs.  If your monitors have headphone outputs or speakers, and you don't want the sound coming from the DVD player to play on your car speakers, then all you have to do is install the sound outputs of the DVD player to the monitor's sound inputs and your done.

In the other hand, if you want to use your car speakers as an audio source, then you will need an fm modulator

If you use and FM modulator, make sure to install a manual switch  for it.  This will allow you more control on when you want to hear the sound out of your speakers.  Also, this will prevent any interference with your normal radio tuning.
