ok im putting a ps2 in my frends car and im doing a whole custom install. now the question is im going to put extension cables for the controllers and mount the ports in the center console where the ashtray is.im going to either use a piece of clear plexi and paint it black or a sheet of pvc and cut out the shape if the controller port now the only problem im running in to is how do i mount the controller extenison so that it doenst push in or pull out when i attach a controller. so i use epoxy or something like that will it melt the plastic.
andone have any info or a link to show me how please

Epoxy will probably melt the plexi. You should stick with silicone or urathane type glues. The only downside to these is the drying time.

Silicone should hold it fine as long as you are not too extremely rough with it. Urathane will definately hold it. Don't know if this would melt the plastic or not but if you scuffed the pack of the plexi/plastic and then applied JB Weld to it that would definately hold.

JB weld can be purchased at any local parts retailer Pepboys,Advance Auto etc....Easy to use and should hold that no problem. I would also suggest scuffing he surface the JB weld would be applied to, to assist in holding for you. hope this may help.....
