Im about to purchase a Alpine CV-1004 headunit and the salesperson told me about the Alpine KCE-104V. Im not sure what the KCE-104V unit is for. I was told it will give me more inputs and outputs but is really worth the $300? I have 7 monitors in my car, camera and tv tuner and all are hooked upto the pioneer switcher. If I purchase the KCE-104V will I still need the switcher or will this unit do everything upfront on the CV-1004 headunit? What advantages would I have with the KCE-104V? I wouldn't mind purchasing it if it will let me switch my monitors from the headunit instead of the pioneer swticher. My monitors and DVD player are SAVV so will I be able to use the KCE-104 for switching my other monitors?iAny suggestions would be great, thanks.
If you already have switcher for video then I don't see any point in getting the expansion module.

yeah, i think its the same as your pioneer unit. i have one (i think thats the model #)
it doesnt bring up options on your screen, its still a separate button. it gives you 4 inputs and 2 outputs, and a pair of pressbuttons which allow you to select which input you want going to which output.

So really no point then? I already have a pioneer switcher installed so no point for the Alpine unit. Is there anyother advantage's for the alpine unit?
