ok ij ust found outthat thru the keyhole in the back you can use it as a valet mode and disamr the switch inside. now if i take the lock out can i just leave it behind the paneling will this do anything to the electrical

Well I have a pinhole camera in my 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee and i've enclosed a install picture. It was done prof so im not sure what they used to hold the camera. I also have a 03 330i BMW and might be getting a  similar job done to it.
